With Cantax, you can EFILE with Corporation Internet Filing (CIF) in a single click. There’s no outputting from system
to system, no printing, no collating and no mailing, and no need to leave the T2 to send the file. You’ll save time
and avoid late-filing fees.
You prepare your return in the usual way but instead of printing and mailing it, you send it over the Internet. Companies that
have annual gross revenue of over $1 million are required to file T2s electronically. Once
you've finished the return, you simply press a key to generate the transmission file. That connects you to the CRA
Web site. Enter your Web Access Code (WAC) or your EFILER number (you get them from the CRA) and within seconds you'll have
a transmission acknowledgement.
Think of the time and effort you save. No more printing, collating and arranging. No federal RSI to print. No trip to the post
office. No last minute courier charges.
And here's another advantage of online filing. If your corporation is entitled to a refund, you'll get your money faster.
And you don't have to be concerned about security. The CRA uses the same secure Internet technology the banks use for
online banking.
