CANTAX T1Plus and T1Plus with EFILE 2009 Working Pre-Release!

We are pleased to announce that our CANTAX T1Plus (version 09.1.302.100) and CANTAX T1Plus with EFILE (version 09.1.303.100) are now available for download.

The CD-ROMs will be shipped starting the week of December 7.

This is a pre-release version which will allow you to submit SEND requests to the CRA to obtain information on your client's account regarding outstanding debts which might affect the amount of the refund. Due to its early release date, the forms in this version have not yet been approved for filing. This version will, however, enable you to estimate the tax payable. Therefore, do not submit any tax returns that have been prepared with this version to the CRA. The next version, scheduled for release in mid-January, will be approved by the CRA for filing.

The CRA will begin processing SEND requests on December 7, 2009. We recommend that you download the version in order to be ready when the CRA begins processing SEND requests.

CANTAX Transmission Service
For those of you who will be using the CANTAX Transmission Service, please remember to complete and sign the CANTAX EFILE Transmission Service Agreement and fax it back to us at 1-800-461-4131. The service agreement is accessible from the CANTAX program under the Help menu.

Activation Key
Please make sure that the workstation's regional settings are set to English (Canada or United-States).
CANTAX T1 requires an activation key to install the software, which includes various modules. Simply enter the applicable key when prompted. The activation key is found in your account information on the CANTAX "Downloads!" Web page.
