CANTAX T1Plus and T1Plus with EFILE 2009 Releases!
We are pleased to announce that our CANTAX T1Plus (version 09.2.302.112) and CANTAX T1Plus with EFILE (version 09.2.303.112) are
now available for download. This version corrects the following:
- problem concerning the processing of files containing returns that include self-employment statements, rental income on
Form T776, and Forms T777 and TL2; and
- problem with respect to the disclaimer's logical interpretation.

The CD-ROMs will be shipped as of February 4.
This 2009 production release of CANTAX T1Plus and T1Plus with EFILE has been approved by the CRA for the
2009 tax year and for filing purposes (paper and EFILE). Although this version will calculate most returns for 2009, some
forms have not been received from the CRA and changes to more complex forms will not be reflected in the calculations
of this release. For a list of the forms under review in this release, please refer to the Next Release section
in the Release Notes.
With this version of CANTAX T1Plus with EFILE, returns can be EFILED to the CRA. The CRA system has been accepting EFILE
Online Plus transmissions of 2009 personal income tax returns since January 25, 2010. However, the CRA will only start processing
2009 returns and sending acknowledgment files (EFILE Online and EFILE Online Plus) on February 15, 2010. Due to the volume of
transmissions received during this three-week time frame, a slight delay could be experienced.
CANTAX Transmission Service
For those of you who will be using the CANTAX Transmission Service, please remember to complete and sign the CANTAX EFILE
Transmission Service Agreement and fax it back to us at 1-800-461-4131. The service agreement is accessible from the CANTAX
program under the Help menu.
Activation Key
Please make sure that the workstation's regional settings are set to English (Canada or United-States).
CANTAX T1Plus requires an activation key to install the software, which includes various modules. Simply enter the applicable key
when prompted. The activation key is found in your account information on the CANTAX "Downloads!" Web page.
