CANTAX T2 10.1.3xx.100 Release!
We are pleased to announce that our CANTAX T2 versions are now available for download.

The CD-ROMs will start shipping the week of May 30.
Here is a summary of the main topics in the current version.

Modifications to the workcharts used to track loss balances - Because non-capital losses can be carried forward 7, 10 or 20 years
and farm losses and restricted farm losses can be carried forward 10 or 20 years, new workcharts were added to Schedule 4 (S4) and Alberta
Schedule 21 (AT1-S21).

New Related corporations Schedule - Because Schedule 36 (S36) has been removed from the program and some information from this
schedule is still relevant, a new CANTAX schedule has been added to offer you the possibility to enter this information.

New forms concerning the allocation of assistance for SR&ED and the transfer of expenditures in respect of SR&ED contracts -
Two new forms allowing the allocation of assistance for SR&ED and allowing the transfer of qualified expenditures in respect of
SR&ED contracts have been added to this version.

News eligible dividends paid cells - New cells were added to Schedule 3 (S3) to allow you to enter the portion of eligible dividends paid.
This release of CANTAX T2 and T2Plus can be used to prepare corporate income tax returns for taxation years that begin on or after
January 1, 2008, and end on or before October 31, 2010.
Activation Key
CANTAX T2 requires an activation key to install the software, which includes various modules. The activation key is available, at all times,
in your account information on the CANTAX "Downloads" Web page. Please keep it in a safe place, as you will need it should you have to reinstall the
software in the future.
