Recalculate Files When Using Different Versions
Cantax FormMaster automatically detects a client file that was created with a previous version of Cantax FormMaster or preparer profile.

When a client file was created with a previous version of Cantax FormMaster, by default a warning is issued prompting you to choose to recalculate the client file before it is opened. If you answer "Yes" the client file is opened and recalculated, but if you answer "No" the client file is opened as a read-only file.

If the preparer profile used with the client file does not exist or does not correspond to the one in the Preparer Profile view, a warning is issued prompting you to choose whether or not you want to use the different preparer profile.
If you answer "Yes" the preparer profile that is used will be the one set by default in the Preparer Profile view.
If you answer "No" Cantax FormMaster will keep the preparer profile used the last time the active client file was saved.

If you do not want Cantax FormMaster to issue a warning when a client file created with a previous version of Cantax FormMaster or a different preparer profile is opened, proceed as follows:
- On the Tools menu, click Options and Settings.
- Under Options, click Client Files.
- In the Options area:
- to cancel the warning issued when opening a client file created with a previous version of Cantax FormMaster, select the Recalculate automatically if the program version is different check box.
- to cancel the warning issued when opening a client file created without a preparer profile, a different preparer profile or a different version of the preparer profile, select the Recalculate automatically if the preparer profile is different check box.
- Click OK.
